Matthew Jordan devotes his practice to representing his clients in residential and commercial property disputes. Prior to becoming a founding member of Jordan Dougherty & Stone, LLP,, Matthew worked for several national law firms where he defended clients in matters ranging from property insurance disputes, personal injury, medical malpractice and product defects. Prior to his career in civil law, Matthew worked as an Assistant Public Defender where he defended clients in misdemeanor and felony cases in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Matthew zealously represented his clients in numerus jury trials and hearings over the span of thousands of courtroom hours. Matthew uses his experience to zealously advocate for clients in various areas of legal practice.

Matthew is a Central Florida native, and a proud double gator having received his Bachelor’s degree in the area of Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Florida and graduated with his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

James T. Dougherty is an experienced trial attorney with a proven track record of successfully representing thousands of clients in a wide range of legal matters. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016, he has built a reputation for providing thorough, client-focused legal representation. Michael Stone is a managing Partner at Jordan Dougherty & Stone, LLP, where he focuses his practice on first party bad faith claims, first party homeowners and commercial insurance claims, personal injury, automobile negligence, commercial litigation, and premise liability. Mr. Stone earned his Juris Doctor in 2018 from Stetson University College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from University of Central Florida in 2014. Prior to his college education, he served in the United States Florida National Guard from 2009-2012. His experience prior to joining Jordan Dougherty and Stone, LLP, includes experience in both plaintiff and defense work at several firms in Central Florida. He also served as a pro-bono research assistant for Child Advocates of Stetson Law. In his spare time, Michael enjoys outside activities such as kayaking, hiking through trails, and bicycling.
